deadly weapon charges
I was wondering what the sentence is if someone is charged with assult with a deadly weapon. PC245(A)(1)

Re: deadly weapon charges
It depends on whether it's a felony or misdemeanor. If it's a misdemeanor, then the maximum jail is one year in county. If it's a felony, then the range is 2, 3, or 4 years in the state prison.
