Can you be arrested? Of course you can. You won't deserve to be arrested, but sometimes people who don't deserve it get arrested anyway.

The police have no crystal ball that enables them to figure out which accusations are true and which are false. You may know from the start that your ex-wife is making things up and acting out of jealousy, but the police won't.

If your ex makes such a claim and it sounds credible, the police will investigate. If their investigation suggests that you threatened to kill her, then they will likely arrest you.

On the other hand, if they conclude that your ex made a false police report, they might arrest her instead. Even if they are fooled at first, they can arrest her later when and if they realize their mistake.

One of the reasons most people don't make false reports is that they realize this might happen to them. Hopefully your ex is smart enough to realize this, too.
