Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
death threat by pharmacist
I was called last November by a pharmacist that I do not know and she told me that she knew 51 ways she could kill me and the police couldn't find evidence of. She also threatened to break my neck and that she had a Glock waiting for me. She accused me of things I did not do and she wouldn't listen to me when I told her she had the wrong person. I was terrified and called police. I finally turned her in to the state pharmacy board after she kept calling me and harrassing me. I finally did react and did a few minor things back at her (like sent her fake cat shit) because she was driving me crazy. My question is: What will the pharmacy board do to her? The lady is a nut case. Will she be allowed to continue as a pharmacist? The police heard some of the messages she left on my answering machine where she is so drugged that she can't even remember her phone number when she tries to leave it. The pharmacy board has a copy of some of these calls that went on for months. I just want to know what is going to possibly happen.

You should stop worrying about what the pharmacy board will do to her and worry about the safety of yourself and family. You should get a restraining order against her. This would make it a misdemeanor for her to contact you and come around you.
Re: death threat by pharmacist
Your question is less about the law than about the pharmacy board's policies and procedures. You might be better off asking a pharmacist. Alternatively, a web search for attorneys who represent pharmacists in disciplinary proceedings might lead you to someone who can answer your questions.
Good luck.

Your first mistake was pressing 0 to speak to the pharmacist, instead of entering your prescription number on the touch-tone keypad.
