defending restraining order

I have recieved a temp. restraining order from girl friend. How do I go about defending a continuence of this order. It is not necessary. I've never touched this women nor will i. What do i have to tell judge to stop this action. I don't have much money for this. Can you help. When we first started to split apart i went and filed a restraining order on her. But i thought it wasn't needed so i did'nt have them served. When she found out this she went and filed one on me. How can I win this needless battle?

How do you "win" against a restraining order?

You do not "win" by somehow defeating a requestedrestraining order. Even attempting to impliesthat you foresee that you will want to forcethis person to have you visit even when they do not want you there.

You need to reorient your thinking. If this other person wants an order, they will get one.Why do you need to see this person under thosecircumstances.
