define 2nd degree robbery
is 2nd degree robbery a violent crime ,probation was given to me but i never found out if you can get probation if crime is considered violent

Robbery is a crime in which you use force or fear to take property from another person. Thus, it is violent. However, depending on the circumstances and your prior record, it is still possible to get probation. In general, there are a variety of crimes against the person for which the guilty party can still get probation.
