You need to get a good lawyer who can explore all your options with you. No one can give you appropriate advice regarding what you are facing, what your options are, how to deal with the prosecution without reviewing the case with you. Don't rush into a decision. Get a good lawyer who will take the time to investigate your case and help you decide what is in your best interest.

Re: discharge of fire arm

I routinely handle felony violent offenses resulting from drug and/or alcohol use. Often I have reduced the offense to a misdemeanor, and on occasion I am able to have the charge dismissed, depending on the nature and facts of the case. If you are in the Los Angeles area, you may contact me for an office consultation or to schedule a phone consultation. Thank you. Sara Azari (Criminal Defense Attorney)

Whether this is your first offense or second, you should seek advice of counsel and then retain one to represent your interests. It's difficult to tell someone what to do based on the information given. I go to court repeatedly until I get the results that my client wants, even if the person is ultimately "guilty" of the charges. It's not so black and white. It's all about strategy.
