dismiss murder charge
my oldest grandson was arrested & indicted for murder but he didnt do it, his brother did.His brother went down to the police station & gave a detailed confession accepting 100% responsibility & proclaiming his brothers innocence. my questin is- what typically happens next? how long does it take to dismiss charges against my innocent grandson?

The mere fact that the younger brother confessed does not necessarily convince the police and district attorney that the older brother is innocent. Until this happens your grandson will not be released.
