Dismissals and/or Suppressions

I was arrested while at a friends house for possesion,my friend also arrsested for a differnt charege but filed under the same case number as co-defendants.Question being: If my friends charges or case is dismissed,or the evidence (due to invalid searh warrant)suppressed, would my charge and or case be dismissed also?. My name was NOT listed or on the search warrant anywhere that they finally produced at the Preliminary Hearing.Thank You for caring and taking the time! Signed: Been in the GREY

The answer to your question in quite possibly yes. If the search warrant is bad then all evidence gathered against you may be supressed, which should result in the dismissal of your case. I would have to read the warrant in order to determine if it is defective.

Further, if they served the warrant improperly, which means that they looked in places not listed on the warrant then this would be an additional way that we could win.
