Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
the District attorney's office applied a criminal protective order between me and my husband. I requested that it be dropped at a court date. on the court minutes it states " rest order modified to allow contact is granted. appellate waiver taken" what does this mean? I requested that the order be dropped. is that what this is saying?

The protective order was not dropped. It was only modified to allow contact. Without seeing the original order as well as the modified order, I couldn't give any further advise.
