Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Domestic Violence

Do you know of any attorneys out

there that handle DV cases pro bono?

I tried to commit suicide with a

control substance because of the DV

and now my ex has my 3 children

and is making all kinds of false

allegation to get permanent custody

because he is getting welfare for all

3. He has not worked in the entire

10 years we were married. I need

help and I have no money, I have

exhausted all my finances fighting

him and he keeps filing new charges

in new counties even though he does

not live there. The burden of proof

falls on me and he has mentally

abused my oldest daughter (9yrs)

into making these allegations. It's

not her fault I understand the abuse

so I know she is scared. I am scared

for them. Can someone help me?

Re: Domestic Violence

Do a search for 'Legal Aid' on Google in your area. They offer free legal services to people in your situation which would include protective and restraining orders in your favor.

Best of Luck!
