Domestic violence

I honestley had my boyfriend arrested for 273.5(a)pc. he did no wrong he had the bruises not i. Is there any way i can get him off for lying to a peace officer? I am 10 yr.older than him going threw menopause and very moody. He does not deserve these charges.

Many domestic violence victims later decide to change their stories -- either because they fear reprisal or out of a misguided desire to protect their abuser. Even if you really did lie, the authorities may well believe you told the truth the first time around and are lying now.

If they do believe you, you will have other reasons to worry. Wilfully making a false police report is a serious crime. Being "very moody" -- even because of menopause -- is not a defense.
