Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Drinking

So i live in california o begin with and the legal drinking age is 21. I happened to go to a party the other day and i had been there for 10 minutes and had a couple sips of shmernolf malt (very low alch count). Anyways we were in the back yard of a private party house and there was a noise complaint called against us. The owners of the house were present aswell and the side gate was open for the guests of the party to enter but the front door was not. The police officers came in the side gate without asking or accouncing their presence to anyone. They then saw me with the 1 bottle of shmernolf that I had taken a few sips of. The ticket citation # that was given to me is called a 25662 (a). What im wondering is if i can fight this ticket at all considering they had no permission to enter at all and the ticket is given to me on private property but the citation is for being on public property?

You should review the facts with an attorney. That will allow you to fully discuss the facts with the attorney. Then defenses can be discussed with the attorney.
