dropping charges

How do I get charges drop on my son. He took the family car without persmisssion and I called the cops and told them he had taken the car. He was arrested. The car was going to be his when he got his drivers license but he disobeyed me

The D.A. may decide to prosecute based upon your report. I assume you already asked the police not to pursue the matter. Is he a juvenile? Contact me directly.
