Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Drug Court

I was arrested spent 3 days in jail and when I went to court I plead guilty to drug passion, even though all I had was an empty baggie, I just wanted to go home. This was my first arrest I am a 32 year old female and now I am on PC 1000. I live 51 miles from the courthouse and just about everything else, I have no car and am suppose to be at an AA meeting everyday plus drug diversion once a week I went to my first court date and thought my next one was July 22, turns out it was June 22, now I have a bench warrant and no singed AA card and no ride. What can I do to get passed this? I can find a ride once a week to drug diversion and hit an AA while I am in town but I cant do an AA class every day, what do I say to the judge?

Re: Drug Court

You need to address the warrant immediately and you may want a qualified attorney to represent you. It sounds like you may have several issues that need to be addressed by a professional. You may visit my website at www.wallinlaw.com . David Wallin

You need to consult with an experienced criminal defense attorney and get yourself back in front of a Judge to have the bench warrant recalled. There are alternatives to completing the PC 1000 drug diversion program which is why you need an attorney. Also, a Judge is not going to be very sympathetic to your lack of transportation problem.
