A great deal of how you are treated depends upon the county in which you reside and your past history. I agree with Mr. Hobbs. In addition, you will may be required to attend another school, for example with day reporting, and may be required to wear an electronic monitoring device for up to 90 days. Your most difficult issue will be getting off probation, for you will be randomly drug tested, subject to search at home and school without warning, and lastly you will become involved with the probation officer at your school. Any tardies or class cutting will be a VOP, as will any unexcused absences. You will also be subject to curfew. Getting off probation while pregnant will be extremely difficult because you are apparently very involved with boys. I would guess the chances of your violating probation are 80% more.
It may be best to have the case transferred to dependency court if possible. That may stay any formal probation.
Re: drug possession
You will not be charged with, "Who owns the illegal drugs." You will be charged with, "Who was carrying around the illegal drugs." You can expect to be diverted to a drug program that will take you out to classes. That is if the two bags were not a saleable amount of marijuana.
