Drug test
When you have been paroled from prison, when you go see your probation officer for the first time will they drug test you and if you fail will you be violated?

Re: Drug test
People who are released from state prison see parole officers, not probation officers. The state parole officers do drug test people, as I understand it they don't test for marijuana (but I could be wrong). People who are released from county jail see probation officers.
Maybe you should wait until you see the appropriate officer after your release before going on a binge.
Re: Drug test
Unless it is specifically ordered, any drug test would be random. However I would count on your parole officer wanting to test you each time you meet, until he feels that drug use is not an issue. If you are tested, and test dirty, you could be violated.
