Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I am due to turn myself in on jan. 21, for 60 days county time. I am having an issue with child care, so I asked to be put back on calendar to secure daycare with a family member while I am gone. Problem is I am worried I will not be put on the calendar before the 21st, and I do not want to get into trouble for not turning myself in. I just want to make sure my son is cared for. What to do?

How is going to court going to address your child care issues? You need to make arrangements by tomorrow or they will just send them to foster homes or ask that a relative pick them up.

The court generally in my experience will not grant you extra time because you already had time to make arrangements. My advice is to get it situated because issues like this will make a person seem irresponsible.
