Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

dui

I have 2 Dui convuctions. I am in the military and when i was supposed to be paying the fines and going to dui classes i was on deployment. I have been back for a year though and i don't know what i have to do to take care of this without being taken into custody or something like that. Where do i go, what do i do, who do i talk to?

Re: dui

I would talk to a JAG officer at your base.

Re: dui

Your JAG officer may have some law on the issue, as it is a federal order that took you out of the jurisdiction...Most of the time the Court understands and can even be sympathetic if you have the proof of your deployent...DMV is another matter if they took your license due to the failure to complete the DUI classes...Some attorneys specialize in DMV matters.
