Re: Dui

PC 273a(a) can be charged as either a felony or a misdemeanor. The penalties will depend on a lot of factors including the extent of the injury to the victim and prior criminal record, particularly whether you have any strikes.

The DUI penalties also depend on a variety of factors including how many DUIs you have had in the past ten years, whether probation is granted, whether you were above 0.15, whether you were speeding in excess of 20mph of the posted speed limit, whether you had a minor in the car with you at the time, etc., etc.

The only way to give you a reasonable estimate of what you face is to retain a lawyer to represent you and review your file. We handle domestic violence and DUIs. Please contact us if you are serious about representation.
