Re: ecstasy sentencing

The answer depends on too many factors not known here. It could range from almost no penalty at all to years in the state prison. Why don't you consult with a criminal lawyer in your area. Most criminal attorneys give free consultations. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you're welcome to call me for a free consultation: (310) 393 0639

I've read Steve M.'s reply and will only supplement it.

A very small amount might make you eligible for a PC 100 diversion. This is drug counseling and eventually the charge is dropped. A larger amount would expose you to being sentenced as a dealer. You didn't disclose if you're dealing with a Federal prosecution. If Federal prosecution the sentence would be longer than a State prosecution.

You haven't disclosed if you have prior (other) convictions that would lead to a longer more onerous sentence.
