Embezzelment
My friends old boss is trying to prosecute her fopr embezzelment - he had her wrtie the checks and signed them himself - so how could he prove she stole money from hin and if he wins what is the time in jail for a first offender, and how would she prove he is lying?

To prove or disprove the charge the money is traced using the banking information on the back of the check. She should retain an attorney to represent her in this matter.
