Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Embezzlement
Husband and I own a business together. He recently left me. When he did he sold/traded our company truck without my consent. Can I file charges against him?

Re: Embezzlement
If he had equal rights to the company truck and didn't commit fraud (such as signing your name on a pink slip), then I don't see criminal charges to be filed.
You may have a civil suit against him, but it depends on what the business structure was, any operating agreements and what happened to the money.
