Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Enhancements
In a criminal conviction where you get more time in enhancements than your base time, in a dna sexual assault case, and your took the DA's deal because of the dna. But when you read the transcript, you find information that was false. Do you have any recourse? Or, does taking the DA's offer end all chances of having some of the enhancement knocked off?

Re: Enhancements
Ordinarily, accepting a deal and pleading guilty puts an end to the case, but there are certain limited ways you can withdraw your plea. If the enhancement truly cannot be proven, you may have grounds to withdraw from the deal, but you need to speak to an attorney ASAP.
