Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Ethics/law school question

Bill has an identical twin brother,, Ben. Bill is charged with five counts of armed robbery. As Bill's attorney, you are aware that Ben is required to be present at the trial. But does Bill have to be present at the counsel table? Does it matter who is present with you at the counsel table? You decide to have Ben sit next to you. Bill is seated in the back of the courtroom. All five witnesses identify Ben. WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF YOUR ACTION? IS IT ILLEGAL? IS IT CONTEWTABLE? IS IT UNETBEflCAL? DOES THE ACQUITTAL PREVENT BILL FROM BEING RETRIED? CAN BEN BE CONVICTED? DISCUSS.
