Re: exonerated bail

I have grave doubts any attorney here will answer that without actually reviewing both the initial bail order and the exoneration order.

Re: exonerated bail

Thank you for your posting and your inquiry.

As Mr. Wisong mentioned, it's difficult to speculate here, but it sounds as though you paid the bail premium (typically 10%) of $5,000, which is 10% of a $50,000 bail, and paid it in installments. This is the fee for the bail company putting up the entire $50,000, and if you signed a contract with them, you have to pay their fee or you may be sued, even if bail is exonerated. You may be also able to work something out or negotiate with them, given the circumstances of your case.

I hope that this information helps you, but if you have further questions, want more information, or feel that you need legal representation, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to assist in any way that I can.
