Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

when expires the punishment for stolen plane?

Dear Lowers.

I would like to know when the punishment for stolen planes expires , if ever.

Example : if one, steals a plane (small private plane,(cesna, piper..etc), when one can come back without facing legal charges, if at all?

Sincerely,

Re: when expires the punishment for stolen plane?

You stole someone's toy. Shame!!! Now you want to come home. We the males in society that treasure our toys don't want you to ever come home. Afghanistan would be too good for you. You'll never again be permitted to put your feet under your Mother's table and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. This isn't adequate punishment.

Seriously if you left the state in which you stole the airplane the statute of limitations was probably tolled. So unless you have been hiding in the state of your criminal act (and really mean act) you can never come home. Obviosuly I'm a pilot and know what a mean bad guy you really are.
