Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Expungement
I had a criminal misd. case expunged a couple of years ago. Is it true, that when I have a live scan performed, the case will show on the results of the background check and if so, will it also state that the case was expunged.

Re: Expungement
Yes it will show as a case disposed of under the Penal Code section 1203 et. al. Further, there will likely be an entry indicating the conviction is not to be used for licensing, employment, etc. purposes.
