failuer to appear/ is ther statute of limitations

after a bunk arrest (1st offense) and a public defender talking me in to changing my plea to guilty i had to leave the state do to health problems. since then i was given and revoked SSI do to my current health and open arrest warrant. is there a statute of limitations for failure to appear. if so and that date pass's will i be able to receive my needed SSI?

Warrants never expire. You need an attorney to address this for you. If this is in southern ca, give us a call.

Sorry but there is no statute of limitations with respect to failure to appear and bench warrants. Warrants never expire and they always catch up with you, sooner or later.

Be proactive and take care of this as soon as you can. The longer you wait the more difficult the situation will be for you. Contact and retain a private lawyer or call the public defender's office at the court where you were convicted.
