failure o pa a fine
i was convicted on 12/10/1999.v.c.4000a vc and 4462.5vc in california and i failed to pay the fine ive never had a license befor in my life . untill 11/08/2000 is when i first recieved my license .well i went to renew and dmv sent me a letter suspending my license for ftp telling me they must receive payment in full by 11/30/2003.so what im asking is there any recourse i have availible to reconsile this matter without losing my license and making payments or not paying in full because i can not afford that ?thank you mike

You can set your case or cases for a hearing before a judge and request that you be allowed to pay the fines on monthly paytments or depending upon your situation there maybe other alternatives for public service etc in lieu of paying the fines.
