what is the penalty for someone faking their own death

Was anyone defrauded due to this? (i.e. insurance company?) For what reason was a death faked? Depending on the circumstances and how many entities were defrauded and if any monies were exchanged, the jail time can vary. Please contact my office at 310/277-1707.
