fed kick

what are the qualifications or criteria for early release. my son is doing 180 days for ps 326 false imprisonment.

Everything depends on the County you are in. Counties and the County Sheriff Departments which run county jails differ greatly in their policies depending on factors such as present overcrowding, etc. I would contact Probation Department, Electronic Monitoring Program or the Sheriffs at the jail directly to find out. Perhaps they have some kind of a work/work furlough program your son could qualify for. His lawyer should know.
