My boyfriend was senteced around yr 1998 as a sex offender my mother sent him to jail because he was dating me when i was 13 yrs. He did his time and yrs later we got together again and now have a baby together. He was picked up by immigration on April 2008 and then was deported on August 2008 he tried coming back illegally but was cought by immigration on the border a week after he was deported, he is now facing time and is in Arizona. Our lawyer seems like he has no idea what to do, and my boyfriend wants to be sent to mexico to do his time, can this happen and what is the procedure what can we do? Please help.....

Your boyfriend committed a major federal crime by trying to re-enter into US following his deportation. His exposure in terms of time he might be facing is probably significant, depending upon the full facts of his situation and the case for which he was convicted.

You need to consult with a good criminal defense lawyer. If the lawyer you currently hired has no clue, or is not communicating with you, find a better one.
