Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
felony arrest
i was recently arrested for a felony of family violence, i was not read my rights, made bail and my case is not currently scheduled for arraignment... can the da still issue a warrent? what should i do next? i am disabled and have quite limited income

Do not discuss this matter with anyone from this time forward. If the da does charge you with a crime then request an attorney be appointed to represent you. If you are arrested tell the police that you want to talk to an attorney and do not with to talk with the police.
