Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Felony destruction of property
My son, arrested for destruction of property, is being held in LA Men's Central for that + lack of completion of community service on 1) a DUI and subsequent 2) driving w/o a license. A PubDef got bail reduced from $80K down to $20K w/90 days to wipe out all charges, with potential realease within 10-30 days. Can I still post bond to get him out ASAP, even after he has been sentenced?

Re: Felony destruction of property
It appears from your statement that the public defender arranged a plea bargain agreement that included jail time. You cannot bail him out if he is serving a jail sentence.
