Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
felony vandlism
i been out on O.R since july of 2007. and the judge keeps moving the court date back. see i was cought red handed so to speak and i would of thought it would been a slam dunk for the police but they still havent proceeded with there case . i was wondering how long can they postboning the these case.

If you signed a "waiver of time" the court can postpone, the courts are burdened right now. The D.A. might be needing more time to effectively make a case against you. If you have a public defender you should ask him or her. f you have not yet been arrainged, then the D.A. has not yet filed against you. Not enough information to put a finger on exactly why the postponements.
