Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I had a felony from 5 years ago expunged. Local police still come and harass me. Newly remarried. being good citizen. When police come to my door do I or my wife HAVE to speak to them at all if no warrant or arrest is being made? My new wife is Mexican and the Tulare police frighten her greatly yet I don't want her talking because everyone knows the police are not here to help??? They await some legal 'slip up'??

You never have to talk to the police. Just say you do not want to talk and shut the door or don't open it to begin with if you know it is the police.
