Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my fiance was arrested for burglery because another party said he was involved and he has a prior from a few years ago for grand theft auto and has only had traffic violations since what are the chances he will be let go or is he a lost cause?

There is no way any attorney can answer this question without a lot more information. It's like telling a doctor that someone had a heart attack and asking what will happen.
Your boyfriend should not talk to anyone about his case except a lawyer. If he was just arrested, he might not make it to court until Monday. If he can't afford to hire his own attorney, he should ask the judge to appoint the Public Defender when he makes his first court appearance.
