Re: financial crime accusation

Is the interview with police or with the store?

If with the police, I usually advise me clients not to go in for an interview. I tell them to wait to see if they are going to be charged with anything. The more you talk to police, the more likely they will obtain information that they can use against you.

Re: financial crime accusation

Were you asked by the police? Then, most likely the answer is yes. If you believe that they are targeting you as a possible suspect, then most definately. If you think (and only you would know, based on your position in the co.) they are asking you in for information that you may have regarding someone else's activities, then probably not. If you are concerned, then have one. Remember, you can always stop the questioning process by stating that you want an attorney present for any further questioning. Maybe it might be best to try it a lone at first and see what direction they are taking it in. If you start to feel they are becoming accusational, stop the process and get an attorney. Obviously, if you have any form of guilt (and again, only you would know) then definately have one present.

Good Luck.
