Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
What is the best way to find a (criminal) attny that will take a tedious case? Start with the Yellow Pages and call each, one by one? I'll do that if that's what it takes but I was hoping w/today's technology there may be a more efficient and effective method.
My case, for what it's worth, will probably be rejected my most attorneys. I am almost 40 and I have some major mental health issues (crippling agoraphobia), which both my Dr's and I are almost certain stemmed from years of abuse by my mother while I was a kid. In other words the seed was planted many years ago but didn't blossom until recently, in the form of this disease. I do NOT wish to sue her (for money), but rather to purse a criminal case. I just want justice to be served...could care less about profiting from this. She screwed my life up.
Thanks

From your zip code you live in Santa Clara ...the Santa Clara Bar has a lawyer referral service, I suggest yu start there
Yes, you ought to go to the Bar Association. But you should know that only the DA can initiate a criminal case. If you happen to know anyone in the police department or the DA's office you might want to talk to them.
