Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Does anyone know where I can find a pro-bono attorney?

I see you are in Bakersfield, CA. I grew up there until college. Here are your options:

http://lawyers.justia.com/firm/greater-bakersfield-legal-assistance-11059

also if you can qualify for the services of the Public Defender's Office, that will be pro-bono or very close to it. You generally would apply at the arraignment, the first court date. Good luck!
If this is a criminal case, the odds of finding a pro bono attorney are slim unless this is a high profile case or one that involves huge constitutional issues.
Instead, the system has the public defender to provide legal representation if you cannot afford to hire one.
