Fishing without a license
Can a city police officer write a ticket for ''Fishing without a license''? I thought the was the Department of Fish and Games job.

While the situation you describe may seem unusual, any peace officer may cite or arrest for any violation of the state criminal law. A state Fish and Game officer, likewise, has the power to cite or arrest you for violations of the state criminal law not involving fish or game.
Time to get that fishing license.
