Re: forgiveness letter
If you are on probation currently, you can file a motion with the court to terminate your probation early. If the motion is granted, the court can then grant your petition for an expungement, which clears the conviction from your record. Please call to further discuss: 310 277 1707. Thank you for your question.
Re: forgiveness letter
Thanks for your posting. I am not familiar with a "forgiveness letter", but an expungement might help you.
An expungement is done by an attorney or yourself, either via motion or through the court's forms. The code section that applies is Penal Code section 1203.4. An expungement will help you aviod the legal, economic, and social problems of a criminal record in two ways: 1) You may legally say that you have never been arrested or convicted of a crime. 2) If anyone does a background check on you, courts and law enforcement agencies will indicate that "no criminal record exists".
If you have other questions, please feel free to email me. Thanks.
