Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I'm on formal probation with a 5 year joint suspension . My wife was on summary prob. When a compliance check at her home turned up drugs I say her house because we had been separated for sometime when this occurred. My probation is in Norwalk , ca. In 2007 we moved to Pismo Beach & SLO was supervising my prob. Because of marital problems my wife moved back to Lancaster,Ca. where the compliance check was executed back in Nov. 2009 now I am facing a VOP hearing because Lancaster,Ca. Probation notified my P.O about this incident . Although I'm not up to date with my restitution I do make an effort to pay something. I check in via kiosk so I only saw the SLO Probation people when I first moved . I'll be off prob. 04/2010 .How can I be in violation if I don't live there or could it be since I'll be off soon they wanna make sure they get paid
