I've read the previous reply and only intend to supplement it.

The facts are that your daughter is in jail for a drug related crime. You want the jail to admit someone that can do an assessment on your daughter to determine if she is amenable to an in house' or residential drug treatment program.

If she is a first or second time offender, and she falls within the constraints of these programs she'll not require an assessment.

Everyone of these cases that I've done the person going into the jail to do the assessment knew what to do to get into the jail. The drug counseling programs recognized by the courts know the system better than I do.

Check with the program that is going to do the assessment, and see if they have any problem getting into the jail. If they are, they may not be a recognized residential program. And that may make it difficult to sell their program to the judge.

Lots of luck
