after being found not guilty, Can you confess to a crime with no retrobution??

You can not be retried as to the exact charges that had been brought against you, but you can be charged with all the other crimes you did commit but were not charged with [if you killed someone and were found not guilty, you could be retry on discharging a firearm]. Why admit to committing any crime?

In a criminal sense, double jeopardy would prohibit you from being criminally prosecuted, but it opens the doors to civil suits, etc.
