Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

''fraudulant cell phone charges''

There are two outbound calls, listed on my pre-paid cell phone account activity report and I did not place these calls. I have contacted the pre-paid cellular company and I come up against a wall. Represetatives are adamant in saying if there is an ''outbound'' call listed ''then I'm the one who made it''. Since I am unable to get anywhere wtih

this, who can I turn to? I do intend to take this further.

Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank-you.

Re: ''fraudulant cell phone charges''

If the telephone calls were made from your telephone, how will you prove that you did not make them or did not allow someone else to make them? The presumption is that if it was made from your phone you either made it or allowed someone else to make it.

First you should request a printout of the bill that shows the telephone calls. Cell phone companies record each telephone call made from a cell phone. This will provide information about each telephone call.
