Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
A friend was (i don't know) arraigned today and I missed it. I can see online that there are 6 case numbers associated with his name. Does a case number give me any information about my friends situation?

A case number won't help. If you have access through whatever website you're looking at to know the charges, that will explain things, but just a case number won't tell you anything.

Mr. Dane is correct. However in Sacramento county criminal case numbers generally include a letter in the case number such as an "M" or an "F". In that county the case number letter means misdemeanor or felony.
Good luck
