Friend needs help

My friend got her boyfriend charge sheet/Revocation Tracking/Schedule Request.She is wondering what they mean when they wrote ''other offense involving use/poss of firearm PC 12501(c)848 in the charge and code area.they didn't have no firearms in their apartment and he didn't have no firearm on him because he is on parole.What can they do to fight this charge.Thank you for your time and advice.

The notation on the firearm was probably not an allegation on the current violation, but should have read 'prior offense' instead of 'other offense.' The notation may have been an alert to the police that he might be armed.

You really need to get a new boyfriend.
