I have a friend that is california jail at this time and ist show the code SP4 on disposition. What does SP4 means?

In the County of LA, it is usually a code on the Sheriff's Inmate Information site. It usually means he is on a list to be put on a bus to transfer somewhere, depending on either long time holding pending trial, or sentencing after trial.
