My friend is being charged with PC273.5; PC591 and PC 591

They may have "stacked" the bail. 273.5 as a felony probably carries 50,000 bail, and I assume they added 10 for the 591. Either that or the current case was set at 50,000 and your friend has a warrant for 10,000 or some other case with a 10,000 bail.
